We strive for a camper to staff ratio of 8 to 1.
Depending on the location of an offsite trip we may either walk (if it is safe to do so) or a bus will be used.
We offer extended care at many but not all of our sites. Extended care: 1 hour before and 1 hour after camp. (8am to 9am and 4pm to 5pm). Extended care is only available on FULL DAY camps.
Cost: $40/week or $8/day.
Extended care can be registered for at the time of registration through PlayBook, or at a later date through your PlayBook profile.
At EPIC and Onside we want your child to learn more than how to play a specific sport. Each day your child’s team will participate in a “Team-Talk”. The “Team-Talk” emphasizes character development taught from a Christian perspective.
We and our partners take the command "Love your neighbour" pretty seriously. Meaning that all of our camps are for children and families of all backgrounds and cultures.
Every child deserves to be at camp. We work with local community organizations that provide funding and bursaries to families in need. Contact us at info@epicandonside.ca for more information if funding is needed.
Pre-Camp "Welcome Email". This email will be sent two (2) weeks prior to camp and will contain a Parent Package, payment details, and a reminder of the guidelines we all must follow.

At least one person at camp is trained in First Aid at all times. There are basic first aid kits on site and parents will be contacted/informed of any incidents requiring attention.
If your child has an allergy that requires additional care like, an EpiPen, parents are required to provide that either in the child's bag or to the camp staff.
