Next Steps
Launch is a mid-term missions program that deploys individuals into cross-cultural ministry for up to two years. This program gives individuals the opportunity to develop while serving and to actively discern God’s direction for their lives and engagement in His mission.
The launch program partners with:
EPIC + Onside and MBC has partnered with Christian Camping New Zealand to provide a one-year camp exchange program for Canadians students to experience life abroad while serving God in a new environment.
You’ll start your experience at MBC serving in the fall season helping in a variety of service areas while making friends with our New Zealander friends. In late October, you’ll head to New Zealand for six months, working a Christian camp while enjoying the local culture and community. After that, you’ll return to Canada for a summer of service at Muskoka Bible Centre, serving either at our family conference centre or our camp for marginalized youth, Widjiitiwin. There’s lots of space on both ends for travel and fun with new and old friends from around the world.

The Gap Year is a one-year program that helps you discover where God is taking you in life and helps you get there.
Mentors, instructional seminars, and learning experiences will guide you as you develop the knowledge, skill, and character essential for service and leadership in and outside church ministry contexts.
We partner with churches and missional organizations to mentor students in the program, so you can have a place to apply what you are learning, try new things, meet new people, and figure out what your next step in life will be after you lay foundations for a distinctly Christian life.
The Gap Year program is the first 6 outcomes (18 credits) of the Certificate in Christian Foundations and taken on a 0.6 time basis. All credits can be applied to the CCF, which requires students to take an additional 4 outcomes (12 credits).
Summer Camp Tuition Discount at Heritage College & Seminary
A tuition discount of 20% is provided to students working at EPIC and Onside for a minimum of 8 weeks. Students must be serving at camp the summer of the academic year they are enrolling in.
